Want to refuse a loan request made by a friend? Here are tips to deal with the situation.
-Just say “no.” A simple straightforward statement like, “I am sorry, but I cannot afford to spare this amount right now,” will do the trick. You might, however, lose a friend.
-Be firm. There is no need to be overly apologetic.
-Another statement that could help is, “I understand the situation you are in, I wish I could help. But I just don’t have that kind of money.”
